Correspondence and subject files kept by directors Peter Obermeyer (1979-1982) and Paul Goldberg (1983-1989) documenting the daily operation of the office. The correspondence is mainly with union officials, lawyers, state employees, teachers and related school employees, and the PERA (Public Employment Relations Board), and deals with such subjects as strike laws, teacher/school board negotiations, explanations of various state rulings and regulations, concerns and questions of state and public employees' bargaining units, bureau sanctioned arbitrators, and legislation.
